Dovlet Nurgeldiyev. Dovlet is a fantastic opera tenor with a wonderful
voice that not only sounds rich and velvety throughout its range but has
'soul', the ability to reach out and touch one's heart - a real gift! Currently
he’s a member of the International Opera Studio at Hamburg State Opera
where he made a highly acclaimed debut singing Fenton In Verdi's
Falstaff in 2008 and has built on this fine start with highly praised roles
including Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni. As of the 2010/2011 season
Dovlet becomes a fully fledged member of the Hamburg SO cast. In
October 2010 he will make his debut as Alfredo in La Traviata and in
February 2011 he will make his debut as Lensky in Eugene Onegin. This is

our cats Merlln and Charly) live in Amsterdam,Venice of the North. I’ve been living
here since December 1980 after a year spent travelling in India and Nepal and a brief
return to the UK. Music plays an important role in both our lives as you can see. We
also have a special place in our hearts for Ireland and Italy while of course india left
an indelible impression on me. Hence the photos.
